Accessibility
A site everyone can use.
We want this site, and the sites we build for clients, to work for everyone — including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion.

Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we check new pages against them before they go live.
What we've done
- Real headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can find their way around.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Text colours chosen to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against the background.
- Motion is reduced or switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have visible labels and explain errors next to the field.
- The site works at any zoom level and on small screens without sideways scrolling.
Known limits
- Some films embedded from YouTube and Vimeo were made before captions were part of our process, and not all of them have captions yet. We're adding them.
- The screenshots of client websites are pictures of those sites. Each has a text description, and a link to the live site.
