What we do with your information.

Short version: this site collects almost nothing, we never sell anything to anybody, and you can ask us to see or delete what we hold.

The short version

What we collect

When you browse this site

Nothing that identifies you, beyond the standard technical data every website receives: your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our host, Cloudflare, uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use it to track you.

When you use the contact form

Your name, email address, organisation (if you give it), what you're interested in and your message. The form is delivered to our studio inbox through Cloudflare Email Service. To stop spam, the form briefly checks how many messages come from the same connection; that check isn't stored with your message.

When you email, call or book a call

What you send us, and the details you enter in Calendly when you book (name, email and anything you choose to add). Calls happen on Zoom.

When you become a client

Your contact details (name, email, organisation), the proposals and agreements we exchange, the files you send us and the files we make for you, and billing records. If you pay by card, the payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

When you play a video

Films on the work page are embedded from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode) and Vimeo. Nothing loads from either until you press play. Once you do, that provider's own privacy policy applies to the player.

How we use it

We don't send marketing email unless you ask for it, and we don't use your information to train AI models.

Who helps us

We share personal information only with the providers we need to run the studio, and only for that purpose:

ProviderWhat for
CloudflareHosting this site and client sites, security, delivering form messages, and storing client files
Google WorkspaceOur email
Calendly and ZoomBooking and holding calls
StripePayments and invoices
YouTube and VimeoPlaying embedded films, only when you press play

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold or merged, your information would pass to the new owner under this same policy, and we'd tell you first.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Write to hi@digitalsamadhi.com. We'll reply within 30 days, and we won't charge you or treat you differently for asking. Because we don't sell or share personal information for advertising, there's nothing to opt out of — but we honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals all the same.

Security

Everything is served over HTTPS. Access to client information is limited to the three of us, and our providers protect what they hold with their own security programmes. No system is perfectly secure; if something ever went wrong that affected your information, we'd tell you promptly.

Children

This site and our services are for organisations and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.

Visitors outside the US

We're based in the United States, and so are most of our providers, so information you send us is processed in the US. If you're in the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps you asked for and performing our contract with you; our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping our systems secure; and meeting legal obligations. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters for clients, we'll email you before it takes effect.
